Throughout their careers, Sean-Paul and Juliane maintained an inventive edge, creating pieces uniquely their own. But despite it all – the amazing feats of magic, the innovative concepts and presentation of unique effects, the grandness of sets and props, the tigers, and the only performing stage monkey – audience members were most often impressed with the segments of the show that showcased nothing more than an intangible. 2009 Among Branson’s Funniest! Family Entertainer, Sean-Paul
2009 Sean-Paul orchestrates mob laughs with his Snake Basket routine!
Large Scale illusions, exotic animals, and mind-bending demonstrations are sometimes trumped by the hilarious spontaneity of audience volunteers; especially when they’re children.
Some of the biggest laughs and best moments of this Branson show are during the “Snake Basket” segment. In this signature routine, Sean-Paul transcends brand and magic. His artful manipulation of the volunteers during this piece results in the hysterical and impromptu reply of young boys who are asked to demonstrate bravery in the face of mounting danger.
Fear has many responses; and kids say the darnedest things. It’s definitely an audience favorite.
The audience has already seen Frankie the Monkey so these kids have no reason to doubt that a real snake is inside the basket. Sean-Paul has been cultivating and perfecting this routine since 2006. Please feel free to share …
